Education

EDUCATION is an asset that never depreciates and continues to grow. Its value and immense impact is understood universally, but it still continues to be one of the biggest challenges worldwide. Every country has its own issues when it comes to; access to education for all its citizens, lack of basic infrastructure for learning, lack of resources, and right framework to ensure that children are well prepared for the changing economic landscape.

Take for example our own nation. America used to have the highest high school graduation rates at one point. We are now 36th on the list. On the other hand, in developing countries, income disparity and unavailability of basic infrastructure results in lack of education for most underprivileged children. This burden increases the illiteracy rates of many countries, as millions and millions of children are deprived of basic education.  And these high illiteracy rates and lack of income can have a profound affect on general economy of these countries.

We all know that education can bring a family out of poverty, but still there are growing disparities in many parts of the world when it comes to access to very basic education.  And in most cases it has nothing to do with an individual’s own ability, but everything to do with their social status, gender, family support and lack of basic resources.

For a better future for all of us, every child living in any part of this world should be allowed to go to school, because it helps them develop a future where they are not stricken by poverty, but by success.
